Dave Broom
Dave is one of the UK’s best-loved spirits writers and educators, with a peerless reputation as an all-round drinks expert.
For over two decades he has been a freelance writer covering a wide range of spirits, particularly whisky and rum. He is Contributing Editor for Whisky Magazine and writes regular articles for its international sister publications, as well as for Whisky Advocate and a range of other specialist drinks magazines. A certified Malt Maniac since 2005, Dave has released a number of acclaimed books, including the award-winning Rum and, most recently, The World Atlas of Whisky. He is also a former Chairman of Judges at the World Whisky Awards and has most recently been the mastermind behind a ground-breaking online whisky education series, The World Masterclass.
All in all he’s rather busy.
